China Railway Group to open subsidiary in Tunisia

China Railway, one of the major companies operating in infrastructure construction and manufacturing of engineering equipment and components, is opening an office in Tunisia.

Zied Laâdhari, the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Industry announced this, following a meeting with a delegation of Chinese investors, led by China Railway Chairman of the Board of Directors, Wei Yankun and secretary general of the Chinese project New Silk Road, Hong Hong.

China Railway is the group that carries out the project “The new Silk Road”, a titanic project that consists of building hundreds of roads, bridges and railways linking China to Europe and the Mediterranean.
