TV channel Carthage Plus prepares for launch in Tunisia

General television channel Carthage + will soon be launched in Tunisia after a test broadcast period begun in August 2017, on the 11393 verticals (symbol rate 27500-polarisation VC) of the Nilesat satellite. This was formerly the frequency of the channel Attessiaa, Nextvame reported. The official launch of the channel, created by Tunisian businessman Lassaad Kheder, is imminent, it said.

The media premises are fully completed, equipment available and staff ready to start activities. The launch of Carthage Plus is part of a project that includes the creation in Tunis of a university specialising in audiovisual studies and a Mediacity, a free zone built to encourage the establishment of media organisations, news agencies, advertising agencies and other media companies.
