Dutch tourists arrive to Enfidha-Hammamet international airport as travel ban to Tunisia lifted

Some 191 Dutch tourists arrived on Sunday to Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, as the travel to Tunisia’s destination was lifted by Britain and Holland by late July.

These tourists have chosen to spend their holidays in hotel units in the city resorts of Sousse (El Kantaoui), Hammamet and Monastir, Sousse regional tourism delegate told TAP.

This first flight organised by the Belgian-Dutch tour operator “Corendon” will be followed by five more flights by “TUI” World Towers every Sunday in October to land in the international airport of Enfidha-Hammamet..

The number of tourists in the Sousse and El Kantaoui resort reached 676,909 tourists from the beginning of the year until September 10, 2017, an increase of over 14 %, compared to the same period the previous year.
