“Another horizon” to tackle unemployment crisis in Tunisia…
The Media Center of la Marsa townhall in Tunis organized a televised discussion on the issue of unemployment in Tunisia under the theme “Another horizon … Youth employment opportunities: best guarantee for growth and democracy”.
The seminar was attended by a number of civil society organizations in Tunisia, representatives of the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment, representatives of the private sector, German organizations operating in Tunisia as well as the Federation of the Disabled and academics who contributed to enriching the debate.
This seminar is part of a Mediterranean tour sponsored by the Berlin Media Center between the Mediterranean countries which started in Tunisia by an event initiated by a seminar called by Tunisian youth active in civil society and unemployed who presented their visions of the unemployment crisis, one of the most important challenges facing the democratic transition in Tunisia.
This seminar is a important opportunity for all stakeholders to find solutions to such delicate pending issue that makes us all bewildered by its worst repercussions on Tunisian society if we failed to solve it even partially.
