AfDB delegation pledges increased support for reform in Tunisia

A delegation of the African Development Bank (AfDB) delegation paid a visit to Tunisia during which the Bank pledged increased support for Tunisia’s reform programme as well as for entrepreneurship and exportation, TAP reports.

Head of the delegation Moussa Dosso said, as het met Thursday with Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation Zied Laadhari, the AfDB is committed to bolstering the tax and civil service reform process, in particular, and delivering a boost to private-public partnership and entrepreneurship.

The bank is also keen to encourage youths through Souk At-tanmia programme and increase Tunisian exports to the African market, the statement adds.

Laadhari said the Tunisian government seeks to speed up reforms in a bid to increase the pace of growth and increase national and foreign investments, according to TAP.
