Mövenpick is slated to expand its footprint in Tunisia with the launch of the Mövenpick Hotel du Lac Tunis. It’s the brand’s third outpost in the country and its 23rd in the continent. Led by Italian designer Roberto Saporiti, the hotel is scheduled to open this spring, hospitalitydesign reports.
All 189 guestrooms and suites will overlook lake views as well as the Berges du Lac business and diplomatic district. Dining options will include the gourmet kitchen La Table du Chef; the all-day concept Le Grand Restaurant; and the casual, lakeside Al-Diwan, which boasts an outdoor terrace, the source adds.
The wellness facility S Per Aqua will be equipped with a relaxation pool, sauna, fitness center, and hydro baths. Six venues will comprise the onsite event spaces, including a 750-seat ballroom, hospitalitydesign said.
