From the beginning of the year until May 20, tourism indicators have improved with a rise in arrivals (37.1%).

Indeed, 32,979 tourists visited the region and spent, in total, 13,763 overnight stays, up 47.5% over the same period last year.

Tourist flights at the Enfidha-Hammamet airport have been on an upward trend since April, posting a growth of nearly 40%, thanks in particular to the resumption of organised trips to the Sousse-El Kantaoui tourist area by British tour operator “Thomas Cook” (10 flights a week) and German tour operator “TUI” (4 flights a week).
