Carthage Meetings to start on June 27th and 28th in Tunis

The Francophone Union (Media, Advertising and Digital) announced Tuesday the launch in Tunis of the first meeting of Carthage on June 27 and 28 at the French Institute of Tunisia.

During a meeting with the press held in Tunis, Christian Cappe, founder and president of the Francophone Union stressed that through this event, the Union wants to facilitate the emergence and circulation of talents, encourage developments in powerful media in the French-speaking world and offer brands useful communication tools in terms of radiation and impact.

“This event will bring together personalities from the digital sectors, partners and personalities involved in the economic development of this Francophone and Francophile sphere,” he said.

He added: “Thanks to their expertise, their know-how and their knowledge, they will be real moments of exchange and sharing”.

Christian Cappe indicated that the Carthage meetings will focus on the main theme “For new forms of value creation in communication” with two main chapters. The first dedicated to economic growth and the identification of new growth potential and the second to the values that the communication world must convey in its societal commitment.

The participants in this event will also pioneer ways to generate new revenue for brands and media by leveraging the potential of e-commerce, mobile and video as the engine of digital advertising effectiveness.

They will also rethink the agency’s business in an automated environment and present the multitude of opportunities for transformation for all the media and communication stakeholders as well as the five great changes achieved over the last 10 years of experience in France.

The founder of the Union said that these meetings will promote networking opportunities between participants (agencies, advertisers, publishers, press, etc.).

Other similar events will take place this year in Mauritius on 23 & 24 July, the meetings of Abidjan on 27 September and the meetings Algiers on 17 October 2018, added the same source.

Founded in 2016, the Union of Media, Advertising and Digital is a platform for the commercial exchange of content, innovations and creations within an economic space that shares the same language, French. It wants to promote a real common market between Francophones on an international scale.
