Tunisia Bridges Forum: further contribution of Tunisian expatriates to local development

Tunisia Bridges Forum which was held Thursday in Gammarth focused on the ongoing increasing contribution of Tunisian expatriates to local development. The gathering was initiated by a partnership between the Observatory of Tunisian Expatriates (French: OTA) and the Maghreb-German Institution for Media and Culture. It provided the opportunity for expatriates to meet with government representatives and presidents of 30 municipalities. Illegal migrant boat factory discovered in Tunisia

Tunisian authorities said they have arrested the owner of a boat factory that was making boats used for illegal migrant journeys in the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, various people have been blocked in recent days in their attempts to reach Europe by sea from Tunisia. Tunisian law enforcement authorities said they have arrested Bhar Lazrag in La Marsa.
