For the first time since 2010, Tunisia was ranked 80th of the world economy after having accelerated the reform pace of the business environment in 2017, according to the Doing Business 2019 report: Training for Reform of the world Bank.
The implementation of four new reforms the previous year helped Tunisia moves up 8 spots to 80th in Doing Business 2019.
In the Maghreb, Tunisia and Morocco facilitated the registration of companies.
The results of this report showed that the economies of the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region established 43 reforms against 29 the previous year.
The progress of Tunisia in the ranking proves the acceleration of the pace of business environment reforms as the Doing Business project measures business regulation and its effective implementation in 190 economies.
