Special events at City of Science on occasion of total lunar eclipse

Special events are scheduled at the Tunis City of Science ahead of January 21 total lunar eclipse. They include a meeting on January 20 under the theme “Pending the Eclipse” and another to observe the eclipse using telescopes.

Dynamic workshops to shed light on the phenomenon are scheduled along with guided tours in the pavilion of the universe as well as a lecture entitled “January 21 Lunar Eclipse.”

A total lunar eclipse will be visible from Tunisia on Monday, January 21, at dawn. Partial phases will start at 4:33 am while maximum eclipse is expected at 6:12 am. Total eclipse ends at 6:43 am.
