The Green for Growth Fund, an investment fund for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in Europe and North Africa, has provided a €6 million ($6.8 million) loan to Attijari Leasing to expand energy access and efficiency in Tunisia’s small business sector. Locomotives delivered to Tunisia’s SNCFT

The National railway SNCFT has taken delivery of the first 10 of 20 EMD Type GT42AC diesel locomotives which are being supplied by Progress Rail under a 165m dinar contract awarded in December 2016, the Railway Gazette reports on Tuesday. The locomotives are being produced at Progress Rail’s site in Muncie, Indiana, according to the same source.
