Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren in Tunisia at the invitation of Tourism Minister

Two world movie stars, US Sylvester Stallone and Swedish Dolph Lundgren will soon be in southern Tunisia to find their movie “The Expendables 4,” the Tunisian daily La Presse reported on Sunday.

The official invitation was made to the two stars by Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts René Trabelsi during his visit to Hollywood on February 27, according to the same source.

Taking advantage of his friendship with the great Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren (the Russian boxer of Rocky IV), World Karate Champion Sadok Kouka took the initiative to invite a friend from his childhood for the third time in Tunisia, the newspaper writes.

“Dolph has been my friend for 25 years. I was the captain of the Swedish karate team. He came twice to Tunisia to shoot two Varvara films in Tozeur and another detective film in Hammamet and Mahdia. We even got together to cast the Rocky 4 movie in 1985. He offered me to participate, as I wanted to do a favor at that time. I remember, for my great surprise, that 5,000 casting casts have appeared to Sylvester Stallone. But when he noticed Dolph, he immediately called in to offer the role of his opponent in the movie, the one of the Russian boxer, “adds the same source quoting the words of the champion of Tunisian karate.

“It’s official, then these two sacred monsters of American movie will be on March 25 in Kantaoui for two days before moving to Tozeur to locate shooting locations,” said Sadok Kouka, who produced and performed the film Samurai of the desert, “directed by Mohdar Laadji. They will meet with René Trabelsi, Minister of Tourism and Mohamed Zine El Abidine, Minister of Cultural Affairs.
