Telnet, Sputnix and GK Launch to Cooperate on Manufacture and Launch of Small Satellites

The Skolkovo Technopark was the backdrop for the signing of a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tunisian company TELNET Holding and Russian companies SPUTNIX and GK Launch Services. World Bank approves $ 151 million investment project to support energy sector in Tunisia

The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors, on Monday, approved a new US$151 million project in support of Tunisia’s goal of diversifying its energy sources away from imported hydrocarbons and providing cleaner and less expensive electricity to Tunisian people and businesses, the WB said on Monday. $500mln loan for Tunisia-Africa Trade Promotion Program inked with Afreximbank

Announced earlier this year, the $500 million loan agreement committed by the African Import-Export Bank (Afreximbank) to boost Tunisia’s trade and investment with the rest of Africa has finally been signed. The document was inked June 22 by Benedict Orama, Head of Afreximbank, and Marouan Abbassi, the governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, ecofin agency reported. EU provides Tunisia with €150 million for economic recovery

The European Union approved Monday a €150 million disbursement to Tunisia, New Europe reported. This is the second of three planned disbursements under the second Macro-Financial Assistance programme proposed following the terrorist attacks of 2015 and were adopted in 2016, the same source said. The Ministry of Development, Investment and International Cooperation announced cooperation deals inked with China, Turkey and Germany. Under the agreements, Tunisia is joining hands with the three countries on investments as well as strengthening bilateral collaboration.
