The European Union approved Monday a €150 million disbursement to Tunisia, New Europe reported.
This is the second of three planned disbursements under the second Macro-Financial Assistance programme proposed following the terrorist attacks of 2015 and were adopted in 2016, the same source said.
In total, the second programme is worth €500 million. With the latest disbursement, the EU has provided Tunisia with €550 million in MFA funds since 2015.
