2nd Tunisian-British Trade and Investment Forum to be held in London next October 22

The Tunisian Embassy in London and the Tunisian-British Chamber of Commerce (TBCC) are organizing the “2nd Tunisian-British Trade and Investment Forum” in London on 22 October 2019.

The second edition of this Forum, which will become the main annual Tunisian-British economic event, will feature the participation as a guest of honour of Mr Marouane Abassi, Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, as well as the presence of British political leaders, and representatives of economic institutions and business circles from Tunisia and the United Kingdom. On this occasion, a TBCC delegation will travel to London to meet with British partners, explore opportunities for collaboration and partnership, and deepen their business relationships, the TBCC said in a statement.

In a context marked by Brexit – during which British Authorities and business circles aspire to further diversify and strengthen their economic ties with their non-European trading partners – and in which both countries are committed to exploiting their significant economic potential, this Forum will contribute first and foremost to increasing Tunisia’s visibility on the British market, and to raising awareness among private operators in this country of the investment and trade opportunities Tunisia offers.

Thus, after a plenary session focusing in particular on the overall improvement of the business environment in Tunisia, three sectoral panels bringing together recognized specialists will be dedicated to promoting partnerships in the fields of automotive and aeronautics, traditional and renewable energies, and ICT.
