Corruption Perceptions Index 2017: Tunisia tops Maghreb countries

Tunisia was ranked 74th out of 180 countries with a score of 42 points, by the new Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2017. It only gained one point over the year the latest (41 points in 2016 and 42 in 2017), according to the new Transparency International report, which revealed, this year, that more than two thirds of countries score less than 50, with an average score of 43. Tunisia plans UK advertising campaign

Tunisia is planning a new UK advertising campaign following the relaunch of holiday flights this month, travelmole reports. The tourist board has appointed strategic marketing and advertising agency Fox Kalomaski Crossing to execute the campaign. Fox was behind marketing campaigns launched by Thailand, Western Australia and the Bahamas as well as travel brands Netflights, Qantas, Travelbag and Titan, according to travelmole. Three Tunisian migrant traffickers detained in Italy

Three Tunisians suspected of being migrant traffickers were arrested in Italy , local media reported on Monday. Aged 32, 24, and 19, the three men were brought to jail in Ragusa, Sicily, on charge of favoring irregular immigration, according to AGI news agency.
