Two projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) were inaugurated Tuesday in Sidi Bouzid, according to TAP news agency. Tunisia regulator launches system to block SMS spam

Tunisia’s telecommunications regulator will launch a new service helping telecom subscribers reduce the number of advertising messages sent to them by operators, Telecompaper reported. The service ‘STOP SMS’ is the result of an agreement signed in April by the regulator, the national institution for the protection of personal data (INPDP) and the consumer rights organisation, Telecompaper added. It will be executed via a toll-free number.
