Tourism receipts exceeded the 6 billion dinars mark for the first time on October 10, 2023, far outperforming their all-time record (in dinars) for the whole of 2019 (5.6 billion dinars). Tunisia has thwarted 12 illegal immigration attempts to Italy over the last two days, says a statement issued by the Tunisian National Guard on Saturday. Tunisia Receives Loan for Submarine Power Cable Project

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced its approval of a €45 million loan to Tunisian electricity and gas company (STEG) for the development of a submarine power cable linking Tunisia and Italy.
