Eni signs MoU to investigate castor cultivation for sustainable biofuels in Tunisia

Italian energy giant Eni has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Societè National de Distribution des Petroles (SNDP) in Tunisia, to collaboration on the cultivation of castor to be used to produce sustainable biofuels, Biofuels International reported. Tunisian inflation slows to 6.3% year/year in November

Tunisia’s annual inflation rate fell to 6.3% in November from 6.5% in October, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) reported Wednesday. In September the inflation was at 6.7%. EBRD supports SMEs with €5 million loan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Compagnie Internationale de Leasing (CIL) inked a €5 million financing agreement on Tuesday in Tunis to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is the third line of financing after a first line in 2014 amounting to €15 million and a second line in 2016 of 25 million dinars.
