Tunisians vote Sunday in the early presidential elections

Tunisians go to polling stations on Sunday for the early presidential elections. Some 7.88 million registered voters, 49% of them women, are expected to vote in polling stations in the early elections following the death of President Béji Caïd Essebsi. 33% of eligible voters are young people between the ages of 18 and 35. 13,000 civil society observers will monitor the election, including 450 foreigners.
