Tunisia to increase natural gas production by 50 %

Acting prime minister Kamel Morjane kicked off on Friday the Nawara natural gas field in southern Tunisia, The national production is expected to grow 50% during its start-up phase and 70 % in November, with imports dropping 30%, the Prime Ministry said.This project is the fruit of cooperation between the Tunisian National Oil Company (ETAP) and the Austrian Mineral Oil Administration.
