Tunisia moved up two spots to 78th in the World Bank’s “Doing Business 2020” report published on October 24.
Tunisia, which has maintained an upward trend for the 2nd consecutive year, is this year behind Morocco (53rd) which is in the forefront at the Maghreb level in matters of business climate, followed by Egypt (114th) and Algeria (157th), according to the WB’s annual report that measures the ease of doing business.
The Doing Business 2020 is the 17th edition of a report that takes into account 190 economies. It assesses the business climate, notably the regulation contributing or impeding the business of enterprises since their creation.
